These terms apply to the Talk to Jesus app and this website, provided by Presentmania s.r.o., Korunní 2569/108, 101 00 Praha 10, Czech Republic, company ID (IČO) 08175641 (“we”, “us”). By using the app you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
What Talk to Jesus is
Talk to Jesus is a quiet place to pray and reflect. When you talk in the app, you hear an AI voice guided by the teachings of Jesus in the Gospels. It is AI. It is not Jesus, a pastor or a person, and it can be wrong. It does not replace Scripture, prayer, your church, or professional help.
Not for emergencies or professional advice
The app is not emergency care, medical advice, therapy or counselling, and it cannot help you in a crisis. If you might hurt yourself or someone else, contact local emergency services. In the US, call or text 988.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for what happens in your account. Give us accurate information. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Profile → Account → Delete account.
Free use and daily allowance
The app is free to download, and much of it is free to use, including Scripture, the texts of the guided prayers and the Prayer Wall. Voice conversations have a daily time allowance; the current allowance is shown in the app, and each call can last up to 15 minutes. The allowance resets once a day (currently at midnight UTC). We may change the allowance.
Talk to Jesus Plus (subscription)
Talk to Jesus Plus is an optional, automatically renewing subscription sold through the App Store or Google Play. It currently gives you more time for voice conversations each day and lets you listen to the full library of guided prayers and Gospel stories as audio. What Plus includes is shown on the subscription screen in the app before you buy; we may add, change or remove content and features over time.
- Price and billing. The price and the billing period (for example monthly or yearly) are shown in the app before you confirm. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase or, if you start a free trial, when the trial ends.
- Free trial. If a free trial is offered, its length is shown before you start it. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it becomes a paid subscription at the price shown. Apple or Google decide whether you are eligible for a trial; usually it is available once.
- Automatic renewal. The subscription renews for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. If the price changes, Apple or Google will tell you in advance as their rules require.
- Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings (from the app: Profile → Manage subscription). Cancelling stops the next renewal; Plus stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel the subscription.
- Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google under their terms, and refund requests are handled by them (Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com; Google Play: your order history in Google Play). Your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live, including any right of withdrawal, are not affected.
- Restoring. On a new device or after reinstalling, use “Restore purchases” in the app with the same Apple ID or Google account. Plus applies to the Talk to Jesus account you are signed in to when you buy or restore it.
For purchases through the App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, together with these terms.
Gifts
You can support the mission with an optional one-time gift through the App Store or Google Play. A gift is voluntary, does not unlock features and is processed by Apple or Google under their terms; refund requests are handled by them.
Prayer Wall and what you share
You keep the rights to what you write. By posting on the Prayer Wall you allow us to show it in the app and on the share pages you create, with your first name or anonymously as you choose. Every request is read by a person before it appears, and we may decline, hide or remove any request. Please:
- do not post anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexual or violent;
- do not share other people’s private information without their permission;
- do not advertise, spam or impersonate anyone;
- do not try to misuse, overload or break the app, the AI voice or our systems.
You can report a request. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
Our content
The app, its design, audio prayers and text (apart from Scripture and what users post) belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your personal, non-commercial use of the app. The App Store and Google Play badges are trademarks of Apple Inc. and Google LLC.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the app available, but we cannot promise it will always work without interruption or errors. We may change, add or remove features, and we may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the app after a change, the new terms apply.
Liability
The app, including Talk to Jesus Plus, is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage or for decisions you make based on what the AI voice says. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, and you may bring a claim in your local courts. If you have a concern, please write to us first at info@bornagainyouth.com; we will try to resolve it.
