Common questions
Am I really talking to Jesus?
No. You talk with an AI voice guided by the teachings of Jesus in the Gospels. It is meant to help you pray, reflect, and bring what you carry to God. It is not Him.
Is it free?
Yes. The app is free to download. Voice conversations have a daily time allowance, and you can support the mission with an optional gift.
Why can’t I talk anymore today?
Voice conversations have a daily allowance of 20 minutes, and each call can last up to 15 minutes. The allowance resets every day at midnight UTC. Guided prayers, the Prayer Wall and the widget work at any time.
Who sees my prayer requests?
You choose whether to share with your name or as Someone. Every request is read by a person before it appears on the Prayer Wall. Nothing personal ever appears on the widget or Lock Screen.
How do I add the verse widget?
On iPhone, touch and hold an empty area of your Home Screen or Lock Screen, tap Edit or Customize, then add the Talk to Jesus widget in the size you like.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Profile → Account → Delete account. This permanently deletes your account and prayer requests. See the Privacy Policy for details, including what our voice provider keeps.
I gave a gift by mistake. Can I get a refund?
Gifts are processed by Apple or Google, so refunds are handled by them: on iPhone at reportaproblem.apple.com, on Android through your Google Play order history.
